-i have short curly blond hair and i haven't used a perm in 7 yrs but i want to find a good perm that will work great with bleach hair. women of color. HELPWhat you seriously need to do is go to a salon if you want to chemically straighten hair. Usually people do NOT use the products right and your head can end up burning and your hair will become thin and break off.
The salon I go to used Mazani relaxers and those are professionals and works awesome! My hair was soft after getting one, and the whole entire Mazani line works wonders. Your hair won't become too damaged if you take care of it.
The only down side is that those products are pricey and so is to get your hair relaxed. You cannot buy the relaxer over the counter but the anti frizz and serums you can. It cost me about 70 dollars to get one, but that is better than buying a cheap relaxer at Walmart and getting your hair damaged and broken off. If your hair starts to break off, you will end up spending more money trying to restore it anyway, so it is worth it!
Get your relaxer done the right way for best results, leave those types of harsh chemicals to the professionals to get the best results.
Good luck! When I had bleached my hair it became very thin I wasn't able to do much, so my hair stylist recommended Olive Oil Perm. My hair has grown alot since I first applied it. It protects hair from damage, gives it long-lasting shine, and adds moisture .
Make sure before relaxing you should protect their hairline and ears with hair oil because these are the most delicate areas that are easily irritated. However, if you have a sensitive scalp, make sure to part hair and apply the hair oil directly to the entire scalp (not the hair) before relaxing.
Hope this helped :)
