How will baby shampoo effect my hair?

-I recently had a really bad allergic reaction to something we don't know what though. I went to the doctor and she gave me meds and also told me to use baby shampoo and body wash. How will the shampoo effect me hair, like will it dry it out since there is no conditioner? Idk I'm just wondering since I usually have really soft hair.Hmm, Baby Shampoo is supposed to be for babies, and Babies have Really soft hair too,
