How to convince my mom to let me get red in my braids.?

-I am a 13 year old African American, and I convinced my mom to let me get micro/individual braids in a few weeks. But I want to get red in them. The reason I think she won't let me get them is because it would look 'ghetto'. The other reason I.thInk she won't let me get them is because a lot of girls at my school have color in their hair. It has nothing to do with them though. I've always wanted color in my hair though, I just never had the guts to tell her. So how could I convince her to let me get it.?I'm sorry but, red does tend to look ghetto.. If you chose to do it only do a bit (not the whole head) and highlights.



I'm sure if you just talk to your mom about it she will let you. It's not like it's damaging to your hair or anything.
