Does fairy liquid get rid of all the hair dye?

-So yea I dyed it myself with permanent red. I want it to go.. Will it damage my hair???????! Apparently it's to rough on your hair and will dry it out :/ I'm to scared to ruin my hair!

And will it all completely go or will it leave patches? Thanks!xxxFairy Liquid would damage your hair further, so it's not a good idea to use it to get rid of the dye in your hair.



The best thing to do - if you really don't want your hair to be red - is to use a hair colour remover/stripper product (this is an immediate solution, but be careful with it), a less immediate solution is to wash your hair several times with hot water (this fades the dye) or just let it grow out!

It MAY fade just a tad, but I can't guarantee anything.



I know this isn't the answer you want, but as it's permanent I'm afraid the only way to get rid of it completely is to get it stripped or bleached.

EDIT: Yeah, I left my dye in for 15 minutes extra because I was going for the whole "scene" look, stupid me! I never think haha.:-(
your hair is permanently damaged already--using permanent dyes messes it up beyond repair. U can still make it look good, but it will never be the same
