Can black people be born with brown hair?

-Well now my hair is dark brown with natural red and gold highlights. But my mom says that I've always had reddish brown hair and my grandma's hair is naturally that color too.

It's really red too, like orange and I've never had highlights.yes i know a woman that is black and has a lighter toned skin but bother her parents are black and she was born with very light brown hair and she had freckles and to some its can be considered as blonde hair

Yes! Black people can have brown hair! I know black people with naturally brown hair, plus my grandmother had reddish brown hair when she was young, (it's gray now).
